Movie Review: The Forbidden Kingdom

The Forbidden Kingdom movie was really cool! It was a Kung Foo packed movie starring the two leading actors widely known for their martial arts skills in action films Jackie Chan and Jet Li. One of the leading character was a young actor from Sky High(a Disney Channel Movie) and the other girl was an Asian chick that I have seen first only in that film.

The story's setting was in our present time but the real adventure takes us back to the old Chinese dynasty where Emperors and harass rulers governed the kingdom. It was really funny because Jackie Chan's first role was an old man who sells Vcds. With that role, I could hardly understand any word his saying because of the old voice added up with his Chinese accent that really gives him a hard time pronouncing English. Jet Li's first role was very intriguing being the "Monkey King". His martial arts skill really kicked ass when he battled hundreds of men up somewhere in the Kingdom of Heaven where they floated in the air and clouds. The Monkey King was really powerful. Not even the strongest Captain of that Kingdom defeated him. However, in his duel with the Monkey King, he deceived Monkey King to lower his greatest weapon, the Golden Staff that he threw out the kingdom to secure it while he was turned into a rock. The story started when the Golden Staff lead the boy to the Kingdom where he met a Drunken Master(Jackie Chan) and the Asian Chick.

The funniest scenes followed up then. When Jackie and Jet met up during their battle for the Golden Staff. The martial arts battle was mixed with Jackie’s comedy antics considering he is a drunken master. They soon found out that the boy was the long awaited prophecy who would return the Golden Staff to the Monkey King that would lead to prosperity in the Kingdom. Jackie and Jet's conversation was nearly understood by me. I could hardly identify the English words they are using because their accent made them pronounce English in the worst case possible. Especially when only the two of them conversed.

The Asian chick warrior because of her intentions of killing the evil Captain also intimidated me. It was also the reason why she learned Kung Foo and float on air. Her rival was also an Asian chick with a really long white hair but if I were to pick between the two of them I would pick the good Asian chick not the bad with white hair.

In the climax, all of them were battling inside the emperor's lounge. Of course, there was also a twist. It was when a poisonous arrow shot by the white haired Asian chick hit Jackie. It led to an early battle between all good and evil with the main items up for grabs are the "Elixir of Life" for reviving the drunk dead Jackie and the "Golden Staff" held by the boy. There were also some little kid Shaolins who also joined the war, luckily there were no scenes showing them die or get hurt. In the end of all the Kung Foo, Tiger Claw, Spinning Kick, Silent Monkey and Snake Eye moves, the prophecy has finally been fulfilled when the boy successfully freed the Monkey King and killed the evil Captain with a little hair pin from the Asian girl who unluckily died from a powerful magic blast.

After learning all the Kung Foo Jet Li and Jackie Chan had to teach to the boy, he then returned to the present time where he kicked the asses of the evil goons who tried to steal from poor old grandpa Jackie(the old man). The lucky boy even impressed the reincarnated Asian chick with his Kung Foo moves when they met near old grandpa Jackie’s shop. Then that was it, the end of the coolest movie I’ve seen yet.

E-commerce Security Issues

Some of the more common threats that hackers pose to e-commerce systems include:
-carrying out denial-of-service (DoS) attacks that stop access to authorised users of a website, so that the site is forced to offer a reduced level of service or, in some cases, ceases operation completely
-gaining access to sensitive data such as price lists, catalogues and valuable intellectual property, and altering, destroying or copying it
-altering your website, thereby damaging your image or directing your customers to another site
-gaining access to financial information about your business or your customers, with a view to perpetrating fraud
-using viruses to corrupt your business data

What are the threats?
-Threats to e-commerce systems can be either malicious or accidental. The procedures and controls you put in place to protect your site should help minimise both.
-Malicious threats could include:
-hackers attempting to penetrate a system to read or alter sensitive data
-burglars stealing a server or laptop that has unprotected sensitive data on its disk
-impostors posing as legitimate users and even creating a website similar to yours
-authorised users downloading a web page or receiving an email with hidden active content that attacks your systems or sends sensitive information to unauthorised people

When entering an E-commerce business, you must consider certain threats that may destroy your online business and loose your source of income. One of the issues of E-commerce is privacy. It is very important to secure your data because you are exchanging data from different sources. Thus companies can exchange information from legacy systems as well as new systems and communicate that information to other entities using the Internet. The result is highly efficient transaction processing that affects all layers of a company's activities, and which is changing the way that business is conducted. Every time you exchange information to different companies it is very important to keep them secured so that the message could reach safely.
